The Law Office of Jeanette P. Henry is a general practice law firm serving needs of individuals and small businesses before courts and administrative tribunals in Maryland and the District of Columbia for over twenty-five (25) years. The principal practice areas include family and employment law, personal injury, criminal and juvenile defense, general civil litigation, as well as small business representation. Our practice philosophy is securing the best results for our clients at an affordable cost.

The family law practice covers divorce, custody and visitation, child support, property division and domestic violence. Ms. Henry also assists clients in the negotiation of prenuptial and property settlement agreements.

For small businesses, the law firm provides general counsel services, including legal advice on personnel and government contracting matters. Specific service offerings include training HR and management staff; developing HR policies and procedures, affirmative action plans, employee handbooks; statutory and regulatory compliance review and monitoring; and bid protests. In 1995 Ms. Henry was a member of a policy team that provided to the newly formed Mandela government in South Africa recommendations on reforming the government contracting systems, including development of set-aside goals.

Ms. Henry is a 1986 graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, and is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts Maryland and the District of Columbia.
